Speech Language Pathologist in Sterling Heights, MI

Qualifications and Experience:
- Current, valid Michigan Speech-Language Pathology license with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Previous experience in a school-based setting, including evaluations and IEP implementation
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
- Strong understanding of Michigan special education requirements
- Excellent communication, organization, and documentation skills
- Commitment to fostering inclusive, student-centered learning environments
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for K-12 students
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs) in accordance with state and district regulations
- Provide direct speech-language therapy services onsite to students
- Collaborate closely with educators, administrators, and families to support student success
- Maintain accurate records and timely progress reports
- Consult and participate in RTI/MTSS initiatives as needed
