Two contract positions are available for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year in a supportive school-based environment near Sterling Heights, MI. Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Current or pending Speech-Language Pathology license
- CCC-SLP, pediatric SLP experience, or candidates completing their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) are welcome
- Demonstrated experience supporting school-aged children, especially upper elementary grades
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and support staff
- Strong communication, documentation, and rapport-building skills
What You’ll Do:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to upper elementary students as indicated in IEPs
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine communication needs and develop targeted goals
- Contribute to the development, implementation, and management of individualized education plans
- Collaborate with classroom teachers and other school professionals to integrate speech interventions across settings
- Engage with parents and guardians to discuss student progress and provide resources
- Maintain timely, accurate, and confidential records in compliance with state and federal guidelines
