Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current, valid state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Prior experience in school-based settings strongly preferred
- Ability to effectively assess, diagnose, and treat communication disorders in children
- Exceptional interpersonal, collaboration, and communication abilities
- Strong organizational and documentation skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments of students referred for speech and language concerns
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s needs
- Deliver direct therapy to students with a variety of speech, language, and communication challenges
- Work collaboratively with teachers, families, and other educational professionals to support student success
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of assessments, progress, and services delivered
- Participate in team meetings and contribute expertise to multidisciplinary discussions
- Provide resources and training to staff and caregivers as needed
