Qualifications and Preferred Experience:
- Current Speech-Language Pathologist certification with ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Previous experience in school-based settings strongly preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Enthusiasm for working with diverse student populations and collaborating with educational staff
- Quick adaptability to new environments and caseloads
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students, following individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations of students’ speech and language abilities
- Collaborate with educators, support staff, and families to support student progress
- Document therapy sessions and maintain accurate records in alignment with all compliance standards
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of student goals
