Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist in Stamford, CT
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available to support multiple schools across the Stamford, CT area. This itinerant role serves students ranging from PreK through 4th and 8th grades, providing crucial speech and language services onsite to help children develop effective communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy to students across multiple school sites
- Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide direct therapy to children in PreK to 4th and 8th grades
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all regulatory and school district requirements
- Participate in team meetings and professional development activities as needed
Qualifications:
- Valid Connecticut SLP licensure is required
- Experience working as a Speech-Language Pathologist in pediatric and school settings
- Ability to work independently while managing a caseload across multiple locations
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with students, families, and school staff
- Familiarity with teletherapy is a plus but this role is primarily onsite
