A part-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in Stafford, VA, serving multiple educational settings within the Northern Virginia region, approximately 45 minutes south of Washington, DC. This travel position requires on-site support across three locations, including school and home environments, from ASAP through May 29, 2026, offering 10-15 hours per week.
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language therapy services to a diverse caseload consisting of:
- A 4th-grade student receiving home-based services.
- A 2nd-grade student in a traditional school setting.
- Potentially two students attending a private day school in Manassas during the interim therapy coverage.
- Collaborate with school staff and families to tailor interventions.
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in accordance with school guidelines.
- Adhere to all credentialing and mandated health and safety protocols.
Qualifications:
- Active Virginia SLP licensure is mandatory.
- Ability to begin VA Department of Social Services background check immediately.
- Completion of TB testing as required by Virginia state regulations.
- Flexibility to work across multiple sites without virtual service options.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with children of elementary school age.
- Experience levels considered range from entry-level to seasoned clinicians.
