A skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is sought for a travel opportunity serving multiple educational settings in Northern Virginia, approximately 45 minutes south of Washington, D.C. This part-time assignment offers a varied caseload working with elementary-aged students in both home and school environments, as well as providing support at a private day school.
Location: Stafford, VA — travel required to multiple sites within the area
Assignment Dates: Immediate start through May 29, 2026
Schedule: 10-15 hours per week, on-site only (no virtual options)
Caseload:
- Home services for a 4th-grade student
- School-based services for a 2nd-grade student
- Support for up to 2 students at a private day school in Manassas
Qualifications:
- Active Virginia SLP licensure required
- Ability to begin Virginia Department of Social Services background check promptly
- Must comply with VA TB testing requirements
- Experience with pediatric populations, preferably within school settings
- Flexibility and reliability to travel between multiple client locations
Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality speech-language therapy tailored to each student’s needs
- Collaborate with educational staff and families to support student progress
- Maintain detailed and timely documentation
- Adapt therapy approaches for home, school, and private day school environments
This role is ideal for an SLP seeking a flexible, part-time schedule within a reputable school district and local private school settings, offering the opportunity to impact multiple students’ communication development through varied service locations.
