Travel Speech Language Pathologist in Stafford, VA
A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available to provide specialized support across multiple locations in the Northern Virginia area, approximately 45 minutes south of Washington, D.C. This travel assignment requires on-site presence and offers part-time hours, serving school-aged children in diverse settings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech therapy services to a 4th-grade student in a home setting.
- Provide speech therapy to a 2nd-grade student within a school environment.
- Potentially support two students attending a private day school in Manassas during a transition period.
- Maintain compliance with all licensing and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with school staff and families to optimize therapeutic outcomes.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Active Virginia Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) licensure is mandatory.
- Ability to undergo and pass the Virginia Department of Social Services background check promptly.
- Completion of a recent TB test as per Virginia state requirements.
- Experience working with elementary-aged children preferred.
- Availability to work 10-15 hours per week across three assigned schools.
- No virtual service options; all services must be provided on-site.
