A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available at an elementary school in Houston, TX, for the contract period from February 16, 2026, to June 5, 2026. Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language services primarily at an early childhood center with a caseload of approximately 49 students, including 2-3 self-contained early childhood special education classrooms
- Serve an additional group of about 20 students at a nearby elementary school one day or half a day per week
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans that address areas such as articulation, language, social communication, and fluency
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with program and state requirements for speech-language services
Qualifications:
- Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
- Demonstrated experience in school-based speech-language pathology
- Ability to work onsite five days per week (flexibility for four days possible)
- Strong communication and organizational skills
