School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - Spring Lake, Michigan
Bring your expertise as a Speech-Language Pathologist to an impactful role working with elementary students in a supportive educational setting. This full-time, onsite contract position spans the 2026–2027 school year, serving both public and non-public school populations within a thriving district near Spring Lake, MI.
Required Qualifications:
• Active Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) license from the state of Michigan
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC)
• Experience providing speech-language services in school environments
• Confidence in managing elementary-aged student caseloads
• Skilled in tailoring interventions to diverse student needs, including those in non-public settings
• Professional communication and collaboration skills with staff and families
• Commitment to ethical, evidence-based clinical practice
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in elementary students
• Deliver services individually and in group settings, both within public schools and for non-public students supported by the district
• Collaborate with teachers, support professionals, and families to build progress toward student goals
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in accordance with school and state guidelines
• Participate in IEP meetings, classroom observations, and multidisciplinary team consultations
• Contribute to the planning and implementation of school-based speech and language programs
