Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state license or eligibility for licensure as an SLP
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) applicants welcome
- Previous experience working with elementary school-aged children is a plus
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to thrive in both in-school and virtual settings
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and provide direct speech and language therapy to students with diverse needs
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team
- Track progress, document sessions, and adjust interventions as necessary
- Serve as a resource for teachers and support staff, offering strategies to facilitate students’ communication skills
- Engage families in the therapeutic process and provide updates on student progress
