School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Southfield, Michigan

Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active state licensure (Michigan SLP license required)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, CFY considered
- Experience working with school-aged children, ranging from mild to moderate speech and language disorders
- Knowledge of IEP development and implementation
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary staff
- Organizational skills and the ability to manage a caseload efficiently
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations for referred students
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans targeting communication goals
- Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students, both individually and in groups
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of educational plans
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with district and regulatory guidelines
- Consult with teachers and families to support student achievement and ongoing communication development
