Qualifications & Desired Skills:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong CFY candidates also considered
- Experience working with school-aged children and knowledge of IEP processes
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals
- Ability to support diverse student populations and adapt to various learning needs
- Organizational skills for effective caseload management and documentation
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough speech and language assessments for students referred for services
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans to address students’ communication goals
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute expertise to multidisciplinary teams
- Provide direct and consultative therapy to students, both individually and in groups
- Maintain accurate records and progress reports in compliance with state and federal regulations
- Deliver training and resources to teachers and family members to support student success
- Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices
