Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current and valid SLP license in Vermont (or eligibility for state licensure)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) strongly preferred; strong Clinical Fellows with school-based practicum considered
  • Prior experience in a school-based setting is beneficial
  • Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team
  • Comfort with both elementary and secondary caseloads preferred, but not required

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students according to their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine students’ needs
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student progress
  • Maintain detailed and accurate documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the multidisciplinary team approach
  • Flexibility to support either elementary or high school populations, tailored to your strengths and preferences
