Provide speech-language pathology services within a K-12 school setting in Valley Springs, CA, from July 2026 through June 2027. This contract position involves serving a diverse student population, utilizing expertise in speech and language development to support students’ communication needs and educational progress.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and deliver therapeutic interventions tailored to student needs
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support students’ communication goals and academic success
- Document and maintain accurate records in compliance with state and federal regulations
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional insights regarding students' speech-language progress and accommodations
- Support students across grades K-12 with caseload management efficient to the school's requirements
Qualifications:
- Active California Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) licensure is required
- CCC-SLP or equivalent certification preferred
- Experience in school-based speech therapy services highly desirable
- Ability to work 30-40 hours per week, five days a week
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
