Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Simpsonville, SC
Exciting opportunities are available for Speech-Language Pathologists seeking full-time, school-based contract roles for the 2026–2027 academic year with a highly acclaimed support structure. Multiple openings are available to serve students in a variety of educational settings. Assignments are located throughout the Greenville, SC and Greer, SC areas, each offering a unique population and collaborative team environment.
Key Qualifications:
- Active South Carolina Speech-Language Pathologist license
- South Carolina Educator Certification
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) strongly preferred
- Strong background or interest in augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) devices, especially for the medically fragile
- Prior school-based SLP experience preferred
- SLP-CFs may be considered; SLPAs are not eligible due to supervision requirements
Assignment Highlights:
- Washington Center: Serve students aged 3–21 with profound and medical needs alongside a fellow SLP at a highly respected center with a wide range of supports and resources.
- Chandler Creek Elementary + Crestview Elementary: Provide services across two elementary campuses, each with an on-site SLP, collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary team.
- Welcome Elementary + Virtual Academy: Work between Welcome Elementary, Greenville’s virtual academy, and an additional location to be determined, joining another experienced SLP and leveraging rich professional support.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech/language evaluations and develop IEP goals
- Deliver direct and consultative therapy to diverse student populations
- Utilize AAC and other assistive technologies as needed
- Engage with families, teachers, and school teams to support student progress
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation in line with school guidelines
