Qualifications & Experience:
- Holds certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA)
- Previous experience working in school settings, preferably at the high school or junior high level
- Strong understanding of school-based speech and language therapy practices
- Ability to follow treatment plans and collaborate effectively with supervising SLPs
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language intervention services to students as outlined by supervising SLPs
- Assist with assessments, documentation, and progress monitoring under the direction of certified SLPs
- Support IEP goals and participate in team meetings as needed
- Communicate proactively with students, staff, and families to support student progress
- Help create inclusive and engaging therapy activities tailored to diverse student needs
