Certified Pediatric School Speech and Language Pathologist | Silver Spring, Maryland

A full-time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in Silver Spring, MD, near Baltimore, offering both full-time and part-time availability. This contract position is ideal for licensed professionals with a passion for working in school settings across various grade levels including elementary, middle, and high school, as well as pediatrics.
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language pathology services to students in kindergarten through high school.
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student’s needs.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student communication goals.
- Maintain detailed records of student progress and communicate effectively with all stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Active Maryland professional licensure to practice as a Speech Language Pathologist.
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) required.
- School-based experience is strongly preferred.
- Expertise in pediatric speech-language pathology.
- Ability to work onsite; virtual availability is not an option for this role.
