Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current SLP license (or eligibility) in Maryland
- Either ASHA CCC certification or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year
- Experience or strong interest in school settings
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Proficiency in evaluating, diagnosing, and treating a range of speech, language, and communication disorders
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for students with speech, language, and communication needs
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in partnership with educators, families, and other professionals
- Maintain detailed progress documentation and comply with state and district reporting requirements
- Collaborate with teachers and staff on effective communication strategies within the classroom
- Support and facilitate students’ development of communication and social skills
