Key Details:
- Full-time contract beginning in March, potentially extending through May 21st
- Spring Break: April 12-16; No school on March 25th for Good Friday
- Onsite role—presence is needed for optimal student support
- Caseload of approximately 28 students, primarily working one-on-one
- Majority of students are supported individually, with 17 utilizing Speech Generating Devices (SGDs)
- Student population spans from Kindergarten through High School
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, with current state licensure
- Preferred: Experience in school-based speech services and familiarity with special education processes
- Comfortable and knowledgeable in working with SGDs
- Able to provide targeted, individualized therapy across a range of ages and needs
- Strong communication and documentation abilities
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech therapy services to assigned students
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and staff to support student communication outcomes
- Maintain accurate session notes and progress reports
- Participate in relevant school meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams
