Speech Language Pathologist in Shelbyville, IN

Key Qualifications:
- Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
- Previous school-based SLP experience is strongly desired
- Strong background in completing speech-language evaluations
- Comfortable collaborating closely with SLP colleagues, particularly in support of nonverbal life skills students
- Exceptional communication, assessment, and organizational skills
Responsibilities include:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for student caseload
- Collaborate with fellow SLP to coordinate best practices and individualized support for nonverbal and life skills students
- Develop professional, accurate reports and participate in eligibility/IEP meetings as needed
- Maintain documentation in accordance with school, state, and federal requirements
- Foster positive relationships with students, families, and staff
- Attend relevant meetings and contribute to a supportive, respectful learning environment
