School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - Shawnee, Kansas

Begin a rewarding contract opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathologist supporting students across multiple elementary campuses in the Shawnee, KS area. This full-time, on-site position covers 37.5 hours per week throughout the school year, with current assignments spanning ME Pearson Elementary, Grant Elementary, and Hazel Grove Elementary. With 3-4 vacancies ranging from kindergarten through 12th grade, you will work directly with students and staff to make meaningful impacts on their communication skills and overall educational experience.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology license and SLP-CCC credential required
- Experience working in a K-12 school setting strongly preferred
- Ability to travel between 1-3 campuses as assigned
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Passion for supporting students’ speech, language, and communication development
Responsibilities:
- Provide screenings, evaluations, and therapy service to students with speech and language needs
- Develop, implement, and maintain individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams regarding student progress and strategies
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation and progress notes
- Adapt services as caseloads and assignments evolve for the 2026-2027 school year
