Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students in elementary school settings as a Speech Language Pathologist. This position is available for professionals who are passionate about helping children excel in communication and language skills in a school-based environment. The contract spans from August 10, 2026, through May 26, 2027, with a commitment of 35 hours per week across three elementary campuses. On-site and VOCO SLPs (virtual/on-site hybrid) are both encouraged to apply. The role focuses on students from Kindergarten through 5th grade.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in SLP
- Current registration with the Board of Speech Examiners; must provide images of licensure
- Experience working in school settings or with school-aged children preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
- Comfortable covering caseloads across multiple schools
Core Responsibilities:
- Assess and evaluate students referred for speech/language concerns in grades K-5
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Provide direct and indirect therapeutic services according to IEPs
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, administrators, and families to support student progress
- Maintain accurate records and progress documentation as required by school policy and regulations
- Attend meetings as a member of the multidisciplinary team
