An exciting opportunity is available for a full-time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide support in a Middle School setting from April 1, 2026, through May 22, 2026. This position serves as a maternity leave replacement and involves an itinerant schedule between two campuses serving grades 6-8, working with approximately 100 students.
Location: San Antonio, TX
Work Setting: On-site at two middle schools
Schedule: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
Assignment Duration: April 1, 2026 – May 22, 2026
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy services for students in grades 6-8
- Manage a caseload of approximately 100 students, providing evaluations, treatment plans, and progress monitoring
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student communication development
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation according to school and legal standards
- Travel between the two assigned schools to provide consistent services
Qualifications:
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology required
- Professional state license in speech-language pathology; provide current license documentation
- Successful completion of fingerprinting and background check prior to placement
- Experience working with middle school-aged children preferred
- Ability to work independently and manage itinerant schedule effectively
