A full-time, maternity leave Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in San Antonio, TX, serving grades 6 through 8 across two middle schools. This position is itinerant, dividing time between two campuses and managing a caseload of approximately 100 students.
Location: San Antonio, TX
Dates: April 1, 2026 – May 22, 2026
Schedule: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
Setting: School-based, itinerant position covering two middle schools
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language pathology services to students in grades 6-8
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech and language disorders
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school and state regulations
- Adapt therapy plans to meet individual student needs across two campuses
Qualifications:
- Valid professional license for Speech Language Pathology (CCC)
- Ability to obtain fingerprinting and background checks as required
- Experience working with middle school-aged students preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work itinerantly between campuses
- Flexibility to work full-time on-site during contract period
