What we’re seeking:
- Current Arizona Speech-Language Pathologist license (required)
- Experience working in school-based settings highly preferred
- Familiarity supporting diverse populations across elementary and high school age groups
- Strong skills in assessment, intervention, and progress monitoring
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities with students, families, and school teams
- Flexibility and adaptability to reach students at various functioning levels
What you’ll do:
- Provide speech and language therapy in both individual and group settings for elementary and high school students
- Conduct assessments, develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and monitor student progress
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and administrators to support generalization of skills in classroom and community settings
- Maintain thorough documentation and contribute to IEP meetings
- Consult with families regarding student needs, progress, and strategies for carryover at home
- Stay current with best practices and evidence-based interventions in school-based speech therapy
