Key Qualifications:
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC) required
- Previous experience working with pediatric populations in schools is preferred
- Comprehensive understanding of IEP development, progress monitoring, and data-driven therapy
- Ability and willingness to supervise Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) as part of the team
- Excellent communication skills and adaptability to address diverse student needs
- Valid state licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure for speech pathology
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to students across PreK to 8th grade
- Conduct assessments, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and implement therapy in accordance with school guidelines
- Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and other related service providers
- Supervise SLPAs, ensuring compliance with state regulations and maintaining high standards of care
- Maintain thorough documentation and participate in required meetings and professional development
