Beginning January 2027, this contract opportunity extends through the remainder of the academic year. You'll contribute your expertise at a single site, working a consistent 37.5-hour week while managing an engaging caseload of around 50 students. Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Hold a valid AZ SLP license
- Maintain DOE Certification
- Possess a current IVP fingerprint clearance card
- Previous pediatric or school-based SLP experience is strongly preferred
- Open to both seasoned clinicians (CCC) and Clinical Fellows (CFY)
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to a diverse caseload of elementary students
- Assess, diagnose, and create individualized treatment plans in compliance with IEPs and educational goals
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and participate in school-based meetings
- Maintain detailed documentation and progress reports
- Offer support and guidance to teachers and families, promoting strategies for student success
