A dedicated Speech Language Pathologist with CCC is sought to provide on-site services across two schools within a vibrant learning community near San Antonio, TX.
Your expertise will be vital in addressing diverse speech and language goals while collaborating closely with other educational professionals. This role offers the opportunity to supervise a bilingual SLPA (for SLPs, not Clinical Fellows), contributing to quality assurance and professional development within the team. Supervision is provided for those needing it, though experienced SLPs are preferred.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Speech-Language Pathology license and CCC required
- Supervisory experience with SLPA or SLPAs (preferred)
- Bilingual proficiency a plus
- Comfortable working on-site and traveling between two school locations
- Able to provide license documentation and complete required fingerprinting/background check
- Strong interpersonal and team collaboration skills
- Clinical Fellow Year applicants will be considered, but preference given to fully licensed SLPs
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized and evidence-based speech-language therapy services to a diverse student population
- Supervise and mentor a bilingual SLPA
- Develop treatment plans, document progress, and maintain compliance with all reporting requirements
- Communicate effectively with staff, families, and administrators
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide recommendations
