A school-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for a contract assignment in Troy, NY. This role is set within an elementary school, working with kindergarten through 5th-grade students. The assignment runs from March 9th through June 26th, with scheduled hours from 7:45 AM to 2:45 PM.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver related speech-language services to students primarily with moderate disabilities.
- Manage a caseload of 9 therapy sessions daily.
- Complete all required documentation and maintain accurate records.
- Utilize two planning periods as allocated during the school day.
- Collaborate with educational staff to support student communication development.
Qualifications/Experience:
- Valid SLP credentials required, including SLP-CFY or SLP-CCC credentials.
- Experience working in school settings with children is preferred.
- Ability to develop and implement effective therapy plans.
- Strong documentation and communication skills.
- Comfortable supporting students with moderate-level disabilities.
