With full-time hours extending through the academic year, you’ll be working either at a single campus or traveling between two sites, depending on your selected caseload.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Florida Department of Health Provisional SLP License (required)
- Strong preference for school-based experience and a passion for working with children and young adults
- Ability to complete time-sensitive fingerprinting procedures (prior prints in the AHCA Clearinghouse may be transferable)
- Commitment to fulfilling all necessary onboarding and credentialing steps in a timely manner
- Available for an on-site position; remote or virtual services are not an option
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive speech and language assessments, therapy, and intervention services to a diverse caseload (age group and specifics to be determined during the interview)
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to develop IEPs and implement therapeutic plans
- Maintain detailed documentation in accordance with school guidelines and state regulations
- Travel between nearby school sites as required for itinerant assignments
