School Speech Language Pathologist - Santa Rosa Beach, Florida
Step into a rewarding opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathologist supporting students near the beautiful Emerald Coast. This full-time, contract position runs from August 11, 2026, through June 1, 2027, and offers the chance to positively impact young learners in a vibrant, collaborative educational setting.
As a valued member of the team, you may be assigned to one campus or travel between two, depending on your preferred caseload. Schools include options ranging from early learning (Pre-K) to post-secondary programs (up to age 22). Caseload specifics, including age groups and needs, will be discussed in detail during the interview, ensuring the best fit for your experience and interests.
Your skills will help students find their voice and achieve critical milestones. Day-to-day, you’ll enjoy direct interaction with students and educators in a supportive environment focused on growth and excellence.
Qualifications:
- Hold an active Florida DOH Provisional SLP License
- Previous school-based experience is strongly preferred
- Must complete fingerprinting (prior prints may be valid through the AHCA Clearinghouse)
- Comfortable with full-time hours (up to 37.5 per week)
- Flexible to work either at one site or between campuses
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech therapy services tailored to students’ individualized needs
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other specialists to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with school district policies
- Engage in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams
