Qualifications & Experience Sought:
- Current SLPA credential and license to practice as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant
- Previous experience in a school-based setting highly preferred
- Familiarity with students at the high school or junior high level
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- Comfortable following treatment plans under SLP and contributing to progress reports
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement individualized treatment activities as designed by supervising SLPs
- Support speech, language, and social communication development for students
- Collaborate with SLPs, teachers, and the multidisciplinary team to optimize student achievement
- Document progress and maintain accurate records according to school/district policies
- Participate in team meetings and professional development as needed
