No day is the same: your presence will directly support students and colleagues, helping to meet the demands of growing caseloads while increasing your own flexibility and adaptability. This assignment offers exposure to both general education and specialized mid-to-moderate needs populations, including preschool, making it an impressive addition to your professional journey.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
- Preferred: California SLP license and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC), but not required
- School-based SLP expertise strongly valued
- Previous experience with diverse student populations is a plus
- Excellent assessment and communication skills
Role Highlights:
- Deliver SLP services across two elementary sites (one site per day, locations may vary during the week)
- Provide assessment and intervention to students in general ed, preschool, and mid/mod environments
- Offer added support for existing SLPs due to heavy caseloads
- Full-time hours (8am-3pm, Monday through Friday)
- Assignment expected through the start of the school year until permanent internal hires are made
- Fully in-person role (no virtual component)
