Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current or eligible for California SLP licensure
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC), or open to Clinical Fellows (SLP-CFY/Mentorship provided)
- Previous experience with school-aged populations, especially supporting moderate to intensive needs, is highly valued
- Exceptional communication and collaborative skills
- A strong desire to make a positive impact in the lives of students with ASD
Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive diagnostic and therapeutic services to high school students with diverse communication challenges, focusing on those with moderate to intensive Autism Spectrum Disorder
- Develop, implement, and update Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) in partnership with teachers, families, and other specialists
- Monitor student progress, adjusting interventions as needed for optimal success
- Contribute your expertise in team meetings and collaborate with a multidisciplinary staff
- Offer guidance and support to educators and families regarding effective communication strategies
