Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Salinas, CA
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in Salinas, CA, providing direct and indirect therapy services within a school setting. This onsite, contract role is ideal for a motivated professional specializing in pediatric speech-language pathology, including Candidates in their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) and those experienced with teletherapy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy to students in need
- Provide indirect therapy services, including consultation and collaboration with educational staff
- Utilize expertise in pediatric speech-language pathology to assess, plan, and implement individualized treatment plans
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
- Adapt services as needed to meet students’ evolving needs throughout the school year
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid certification or licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Experience in school-based SLP services or a strong interest in this setting
- Familiarity with teletherapy techniques is preferred but not mandatory
- Ability to work with pediatric populations effectively
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Location and Duration:
- Position is located onsite in Salinas, CA
- Contract from ASAP through the end of the current school year
