Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Sandia Park, NM

Collaborating closely with multidisciplinary educational teams and families, you'll create and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) to meet each student’s needs while ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and district mandates. Your role fosters student access, participation, and meaningful progress in the school setting.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Current school-based or pediatric experience preferred
- New Mexico PED certification required (please submit a copy with application)
- Strong knowledge of IEP development and documentation
- Effective communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct screenings, evaluations, and re-evaluations
- Develop and implement targeted intervention plans
- Maintain meticulous student records and progress reports
- Work closely with general/special education staff and families
- Support compliance with special education law and school protocols
