A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) opportunity is available at an elementary school in San Tan Valley, AZ, for the 26-27 school year. This role offers the chance to provide essential speech and language services to elementary-aged students within a supportive educational environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct therapy addressing speech and language goals
- Conduct assessments and evaluations for student progress and eligibility
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and collaborate with educators and families
- Manage a caseload capped at 97 students with support from two Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs)
- Serve exclusively at one school site (non-itinerant position), maintaining consistent student engagement
Qualifications:
- Valid Arizona Speech-Language Pathologist License with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
- IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
- No credential exceptions (CFs or SLPAs not eligible)
- Experience working with pediatric populations, particularly in school settings, is preferred
Schedule:
- Full-time, up to 40 hours per week
- Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday: 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM
- Wednesday: 8:00 AM – 12:45 PM
