Step into a rewarding contract opportunity focused on supporting elementary students’ communication and academic growth. This role is ideal for Speech-Language Pathologists experienced in educational settings, with a passion for fostering student success. You’ll collaborate with dedicated educators across 2–3 school sites near San Mateo, CA, ensuring continuity of care and efficient services. The position runs from August 10, 2026, through June 4, 2027, with the possibility to extend for the Extended School Year (ESY).

What We’re Looking For:

  • State licensure or eligibility as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Experience working within school-based settings
  • Familiarity with IEP systems, especially Siras and AbleSpace (training provided)
  • Able to manage a diverse caseload around 46 elementary students
  • Exceptional interpersonal, organizational, and documentation skills
  • Comfortable traveling between multiple school sites (mileage reimbursement included)
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to ethical guidelines

Role Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct and consultative speech and language therapy services in accordance with IEP goals
  • Conduct evaluations, develop treatment plans, and participate in eligibility meetings
  • Utilize the Siras/AbleSpace system for tracking progress, documentation, and generating reports
  • Offer guidance to teachers, staff, and families for maximizing communication outcomes
  • Maintain accurate, timely records and compliance with all relevant regulations
  • Foster a positive, supportive environment across 2–3 school sites
