Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - San Francisco, CA
A dynamic K-12 educational setting in San Francisco, CA is seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a full-time or part-time contract position lasting the current school year. This role provides an excellent opportunity for licensed SLPs, including those in Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY), to apply their expertise in a supportive school environment.
Key Qualifications:
- Certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP), with Credentials such as CCC-SLP preferred
- Experience working in school-based settings with K-12 students
- Familiarity with pediatric speech and language disorders and teletherapy services
- Ability to deliver interventions according to individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Strong communication skills and collaborative approach to working with educators, families, and healthcare professionals
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students
- Develop and implement tailored therapy plans to support communication needs
- Utilize teletherapy methods as needed to provide remote services
- Document progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with school and state guidelines
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to student success planning
