Urgently Hiring - Speech Language Pathologist
Location: Portsmouth, Virginia
Assignment Dates: ASAP – June 17, 2027
Setting: Onsite
Schedule: Full-Time Preferred (Part-Time Candidates Will Be Considered)

We are seeking dedicated and passionate Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to join a school-based team in Portsmouth, VA for the 2026-2027 school year. This is an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students while collaborating with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
Position Responsibilities
- Conduct speech and language assessments and evaluations
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Provide direct therapy services to students
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation
- Participate in and contribute to Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, administrators, and related service providers
- Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and district regulations
Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active Virginia Speech-Language Pathologist License required
- School-based experience preferred, but not required
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Clinical Fellowship Support
CFY candidates are encouraged to apply.
Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) supervision and mentorship will be provided by experienced licensed professionals.
