Key Qualifications:
- Valid California Speech-Language Pathologist license (CA SLP License)
- Certificate of Clearance (CTC)
- Hold the Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Experience in school-based, teletherapy, and/or onsite SLP roles
- Strong communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt to both elementary and secondary school environments
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy to students per caseload requirements
- Collaborate with educators and families to support student IEP goals
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Maintain timely documentation in compliance with state and district policies
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide input to multidisciplinary teams
- Use technology effectively for virtual therapy (for teletherapy roles)
- Support students at various sites, including coverage for maternity leave and part-time assignments
