This position offers an excellent opportunity for a Speech-Language Pathologist licensed in California to provide essential support in a school setting in San Francisco, CA. The role involves working onsite at two locations—one elementary and one middle school—serving a caseload that currently includes up to 55 students. The position is contract-based, starting ASAP with a potential end date in late February.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy services to students in elementary and middle school settings.
- Manage a caseload of approximately 48-55 students, delivering individualized treatment plans.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student communication needs.
- Maintain documentation and progress notes in compliance with school and regulatory standards.
Qualifications:
- Valid California license as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP), including CCC or CFY status.
- Experience working with school-aged children in speech-language therapy.
- Ability to manage a substantial caseload with effective time management.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills to engage with multidisciplinary school staff.
Location and Schedule:
- Onsite in San Francisco, CA.
- Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, totaling 40 hours per week.
