Make a meaningful impact by providing speech-language services to students from preschool through 8th grade as part of a dedicated school team near San Bernardino, CA. This contract opportunity allows you to focus your expertise primarily at one school site (occasionally up to three) and collaborate closely with both students and staff. You’ll enjoy support from an SLPA while managing a caseload of approximately 55 students.
Key Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid SLP licensure and either CCC or CFY status
- Strong background in school-based speech therapy, including writing and managing IEPs
- Recent experience working with pediatric populations
- Familiarity with compliance tracking, IEP goal monitoring, and maintaining billing records
- Ability to work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary educational teams
- Comfort working in-person with no teletherapy or remote option
Daily Responsibilities:
- Provide in-person speech and language services to students, supporting a diverse caseload
- Develop, write, and update IEPs; participate in meetings, including those that may extend beyond standard hours
- Track student progress toward IEP goals and maintain required documentation
- Coordinate with other specialists, families, and faculty
- Offer guidance and mentorship to SLPA to maximize student success
- Ensure all interventions, documentation, and billing meet district and legal guidelines
