Discover an exciting opportunity to make an impact as a Speech-Language Pathologist supporting students in both an elementary auditory oral DHH (Deaf and Hard of Hearing) program and an Autism program. Based in a welcoming school environment near the Corona, CA area, this full-time position begins as soon as possible, extending through July 20, with a strong likelihood of renewal for the following school year.

Your expertise will enable young learners to reach their highest potential, while collaborating closely with dedicated educators, staff, and families. The assignment offers a diverse caseload, blending traditional elementary speech therapy services with specialized experience in DHH and Autism support.

Qualifications and Preferred Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
  • Valid and active California SLP license (or eligibility)
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (SLP-CFY) candidates welcome
  • Prior experience in school-based settings preferred, particularly with DHH and/or Autism populations
  • Ability to develop IEP goals, implement therapy plans, and document progress effectively
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct screenings, evaluations, and direct therapy for elementary students
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to support speech, language, and communication
  • Participate in IEP meetings and consult with multi-disciplinary teams
  • Adapt interventions for students in auditory oral DHH and Autism programs
  • Maintain thorough records in compliance with local and state guidelines
