School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - San Antonio, Texas

Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity serving K-12 students near San Antonio, TX as a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist. This full-time role, beginning August 11, 2026 and extending through June 4, 2027, involves working across multiple school campuses based on district needs. Start the year working with high school students, with future placements to be determined. Bilingual skills are a plus but not mandatory.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid SLP license with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Previous experience supporting school-aged children or working in a school-based setting preferred
- Flexibility and adaptability for changing school assignments throughout the year
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
- Ability to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams
- Bilingual proficiency preferred, but not required
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized and group speech-language therapy to students as identified in their IEPs
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations and develop treatment goals
- Work collaboratively with families, educators, and administrators to support student progress
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of effective support plans
- Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and required documentation
- Support diverse student populations and demonstrate cultural competency in interventions
