A Speech Language Pathologist is needed to support students across three schools in San Antonio, TX, serving a diverse K-12 population. This full-time, on-site contract role offers the opportunity to impact up to 80-100 students per caseload, working closely with SLPA support in dynamic educational settings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for students.
- Prepare for and actively participate in Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) meetings.
- Supervise Speech Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) to maximize student support.
- Provide additional testing and intervention support as needed.
- Collaborate with school staff to enhance student learning outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Current Texas Speech-Language Pathology License (issued by Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation).
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA preferred.
- Ability to serve bilingual or monolingual student populations.
- Strong communication and organizational skills for managing caseloads effectively.
- Experience working with K-12 students in educational settings is highly desirable.
Location: San Antonio, TX, serving:
- Young Women’s Leadership Academy (Grades 6-12)
- Charles August Arnold Elementary (Grades K-5)
