Key Qualifications:
- Current Speech-Language Pathologist license in North Carolina required
- SLP-CCC or SLP-CF (with district supervision available)
- Prior experience in a school setting is valued
- Background working with Autism (AU) and students with low cognitive disabilities preferred
- Comfortable managing a caseload of up to 35 students, with flexibility depending on preference
- Commitment for the full 2026-2027 school year, beginning August 12th and ending June 11th
Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat students with communication and language disorders in a supportive school environment
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and other educational staff to foster student progress
- Document evaluations and maintain accurate service records
- Participate actively in student support teams and IEP meetings
- Adapt therapy plans as needed to meet a diverse range of student needs
