School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Salem, New Hampshire
Make a meaningful difference in the lives of high school and charter school students as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP, SLP-CCC, SLP-CFY) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA). You’ll help cover essential speech and language services as a long-term substitute, working alongside dedicated staff and administrators to ensure students receive the support they need. This is a part-time role, with an expected commitment of 20–25 hours per week, allowing flexibility for your schedule while still making a transformative contribution.
Required Qualifications:
- Valid state licensure as an SLP (including CCC and CFY) or SLPA
- School-based experience preferred, but strong clinical experience considered
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Comfortable providing services to high school and charter school age groups
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to students, both individually and in small groups
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support IEP goals
- Maintain thorough documentation and progress notes as required
- Participate in IEP meetings and eligibility/assessment processes
- Adapt therapy plans to diverse learning needs
