Two dedicated Speech-Language Pathologists are needed to provide crucial services in a supportive educational environment near Salem, NH. This full-time role spans 32.5 to 37.5 hours per week from August 2026 through June 2027.
You’ll manage a modest caseload—typically 10 students or fewer—working primarily with students who have Autism and frequently require Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) devices. Collaborate with a committed multi-disciplinary team in helping students develop essential speech and language skills, making a direct and visible difference every single day.
What we’re looking for:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Active licensure (or eligibility) in the state
- Previous experience with K-12 students, especially those requiring AAC or with Autism, is strongly preferred
- Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills
- Flexibility to support a range of student abilities and needs
Key responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and provide therapy for speech, language, and communication disorders
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other therapy professionals to monitor progress
- Maintain thorough documentation in accordance with school standards
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student evaluation teams
